About our Customer Panel

We are committed to ensuring that our customers are given a wide range of opportunities to influence and be involved in the scrutiny of our performance, including making recommendations to us about how our performance might be improved.

Our Customer Panel work in partnership with us to ensure resident-led scrutiny where the customer's voice is heard and used to influence and drive performance and service improvements. The Panel also provide assurance that we are conducting ourselves in an open, transparent and accountable way.

About the role

We are recruiting Customer Panel members who are passionate about making a difference and promoting positive change to benefit all customers.

We are looking for GreenSquareAccord customers who:

  • Are passionate about championing the customer’s voice to help influence and drive performance and service improvements.
  • Understand the importance of an inclusive approach and the diverse needs of our customer base.
  • Understand the ethos and values of partnership working to bring about positive working and trusted relationships between GreenSquareAccord and our customers.

About you

  • Are you a GreenSquareAccord customer, aged 18+ and living in a GreenSquareAccord property?
  • Are you a positive and solution-focused person interested in volunteering to influence and improve the services and performance delivered by GreenSquareAccord?
  • Are you able to volunteer as part of a team, respect the views of others and promote participation and involvement from all customers and the Customer Panel?
  • Are you able to weigh up all information shared with you and the views of others to challenge and raise recommendations for positive change?
  • Are you able to attend digital meetings and events as well as travel to venues when attendance in person is required? (All agreed out-of-pocket expenses are covered by GreenSquareAccord in line with the GreenSquareAccord Customer Expense Policy).

We will provide

  • IT access and support if required.
  • Training and development opportunities relevant to the role.

We currently have four vacancies available, and we are keen to recruit customers from the below localities:

  • Locality One: Walsall, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, Shropshire and Cannock Chase (one vacancy available) 
  • Locality Two: Birmingham, Sandwell, Dudley, Solihull, Northampton and Coventry (one vacancy available)
  • Locality Three: Oxford City, Oxfordshire, Banbury, Swindon, Gloucester City, Gloucestershire, Crickdale, Purton and Malmesbury (two vacancies available)
