We’re supporting an innovative children's charity in Oxford

The Bus

AT The Bus, an Oxford-based charity, has been granted £1,000 to help support their school outreach programme through our Community Impact Fund.  AT the Bus provide ‘art as therapy’ catering for 5 to 16-year-olds.

The funding will now contribute towards providing a school term of AT The bus sessions at New Marston Primary School in Headington, Oxford. Pupils taking part in the scheme will have an opportunity to take part in group and individual pastoral conversations led by therapeutic arts facilitators, known as 'sofa time’.

Sian Every, our Community Investment and Social Lead said: “AT The Bus is an Oxford based charity who partners with schools to provide art-as-therapy sessions for students struggling, for a number of reasons, to thrive in school.

“We are proud to support this organisation, and I look forward to hearing about the impact that this scheme has at New Marston Primary School.”
