We’ve been shortlisted for an ACT’s Deals of the Year Award!

We’re excited to announce that we’ve been shortlisted for the Association of Corporate Treasurers’ (ACT) Deals of the Year Awards for our bond issuance in the Bonds Below £750m category.

The ACT’s Deals of the Year Awards recognise the outstanding work of treasurers from organisations across the globe for work and transactions over the past year.

In November last year we successfully secured a £400m 25-year bond at a rate of 5.25% with a £100m retained element, the first housing association bond issued since April 2022.

Our Director of Corporate Finance and Treasury James Tarrant said: “It’s fantastic news that we’ve been shortlisted for the ACT’s Deals of the Year Awards for our bond issuance in the Bonds Below £750m category.

“This bond gives us long-term assurance and certainty of cost in an increasingly volatile and unpredictable market. It’s fantastic that we are able to secure funding that will enable us to continue to deliver for our customers and communities.

The shortlist for the Bonds Below £750 award includes ABF; Anglian Water; Anglo American; Aviva; London & Quadrant Housing Trust; Severn Trent; University of Hull and Utmost Group.

The awards ceremony will be taking place at One Great George Street, London on 4 April 2023.
