Our new anti-social behaviour (ASB) policy sets out our approach to tenancy management and ASB so our customers know what to expect when dealing with ASB. It also ensures colleagues can effectively prevent and tackle ASB.

We take anti-social behaviour, harassment and hate crime very seriously and will not tolerate it in any form. We use preventative measures, early intervention, partnership working, support and legal action to tackle anti-social behaviour. Our aim is to act quickly delivering a swift, proportionate and flexible response which is victim centred.

The new ASB policy explains our approach to:

  • Prevention
  • Case management
  • Roles and responsibilities.

Prevention is our first line of defence, but this policy also outlines the differing circumstances, where we are able to act. For a significant number of ASB cases, our actions are likely to be in conjunction with other agencies such as the police.

This policy has been prepared and will continue to be monitored in line with the community cohesion strategies published by relevant local authorities and with the Neighbourhood and Community Standard as published by the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH).

You can view our new ASB policy here or on our policies page on our website.
