Gary has over 30 years of experience in social housing. At GreenSquareAccord, he leads the Homes and Communities, Care and Support, Quality and Compliance, and Transformation directorates.

He began his career at 16 with Copec Housing before spending over four years at Birmingham City Council, managing homes in some of the city's most deprived inner-city areas. He later joined Focus Housing, which later merged with Touchstone Housing to become Midland Heart, where he spent 30 years of his career.

At Midland Heart, Gary started as a housing officer and progressed through various leadership roles. In his final seven years, he held a director-level position, overseeing income recovery, allocations, housing legal, and housing management. He led significant organisation-wide changes focused on customers, driving initiatives that helped Midland Heart maintain its strong reputation for innovation and high-quality service.

At GreenSquareAccord, Gary’s goal, with the support of the Executive team, is to establish the organisation as a leading provider of great quality housing with a reputation for outstanding customer service.
