The Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) is a hardship fund to help people who are struggling with the cost of living. It is funded by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and provided through local councils across England.
The fund can help low-income households who:
- Are facing a sudden financial crisis, or
- Are finding it hard to pay for everyday essentials
This might include support with costs such as:
- Food
- Energy bills
- Water bills
You may have heard of this fund before – it was previously called the Household Support Fund (HSF).
