Members of the Midlands Gas and Heating Team successfully completed their 9.5-mile walk from the Rubery Owen office in Walsall to Brindleyplace in Birmingham on Sunday 7 December, raising nearly £900 for Crisis, the national charity working to end homelessness.
Sid Sidhu, our Gas Manager said: “I want to say a huge thank you to those in the team for taking part in this walk – your dedication and energy made it a fantastic day. I also want to thank everyone who has donated so far; your support means so much and is helping us make a real difference for people experiencing homelessness."
Crisis provides education, employment, and housing support to help people rebuild their lives and campaigns for lasting change. This fundraiser is a way for the Midlands Gas and Heating Team to support communities in line with their mission to provide safe, affordable homes.
You can still show your support by donating online via the team’s JustGiving page. Collection tins with QR codes are also available at Rubery Owen, Brindleyplace, and Methuen Park for those who would like to contribute.
Congratulations to Sid and the team for going the extra mile and helping to make a difference in the lives of people experiencing homelessness.
