Saturday 9 August saw the return of our annual Customer Roadshow.
We held an event at Pattern Gardens in Darlaston, West Midlands, which provided an opportunity for our customers to meet with colleagues who work in their locality.

We were joined by 32 adults and 44 children, representing 22 households.
As part of our commitment to strengthening community connections and improving our neighbourhoods, it’s important that we listen to our customers’ feedback and suggestions. Meeting face to face to discuss their concerns and ideas gave us some valuable insights to action.
Our Head of Customer Engagement and Investment, Donna Hodsoll, said:
“Pattern Gardens was constructed around twelve years ago; the homes were built in our LoCaL Homes factory.
“The day was valuable, many customers shared positive feedback with us, including how energy efficient their homes are and that it was great to talk face to face with colleagues from GSA.
“Some of the key issues raised by customers were concerns over the lack of parking for both residents and visitors, that improvements were needed to the damaged turf caused by vehicles on the main green and that overhanging bushes and overgrown vegetation on neighbouring land made rear access passages dark. Our Walsall team are working to tackle these issues as soon as possible."
The Walsall Roadshow comprised of a range of family friendly activities including balloon modelling, face painting, a craft table, ice cream and refreshments.

Chippenham Queen’s East Community Fun Day on Saturday 30 August
Later this month, we’re teaming up with Wiltshire Council and a group of active GSA customers in Chippenham for a Community Fun Day on Saturday 30 August at Kingsley Road Community Hall, Chippenham.
This neighbourhood is located close to more than 1,000 GSA homes, offering an exciting opportunity to engage with significantly more customers than in previous years.
We’re jointly promoting the event with Wiltshire Council and customers to make sure the news reaches GSA customers and communities.
We’re excited about this new partnership, which brings the potential to deepen connections and build stronger relationships. It also presents an opportunity to develop longer term engagement.
