We coordinated two successful clean-up days in Calne and Lyneham.
Across both locations, 40-yard skips were filled with rubbish and unwanted household goods.
During the sessions, all manner of items were disposed of responsibly, including mattresses, garden furniture, sofas, black bin waste, white goods and suitcases.
David Shaw, our Locality Manager, said: “Colleagues and customers pulled together to clear away bulky household waste.
“As well as providing a useful service to our customers, the clean-up days were a great team-building opportunity.
“Thank you to everyone who took part and helped to make a positive difference to our communities.”
During both events, the skips were provided free of charge to our customers and were aimed at deterring incidents of fly-tipping.
Positive feedback was received from customers at both events, who found the sessions very useful.
