We’re proud to have awarded a £2,000 grant from our Community Impact Fund to Bedazzle, a creative programme in Dudley.
Bedazzle offers free creative, social and educational activities that improve wellbeing and strengthen community connections.
Our £2,000 donation will support their 10-week art programme for adults who are retired, unemployed or living with long-term health conditions. The programme provides guided art activities alongside opportunities for friendship, support and personal development.
Our funding will help cover the cost of a professional arts facilitator, creative materials, the venue and refreshments, ensuring the sessions remain free and accessible to all.
Approximately 25 adults attend the art group and almost half of them live in GSA homes.
Ben Cole, Operations Lead at Bedazzle, said:
"The adult art group has become much more than an art class. Participants have described the sessions as a vital source of routine and social connection, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and improve confidence and wellbeing.
"This funding will allow us to continue offering the classes for free and ensure local adults can access a safe space and peer support they value so highly."

Our Community Impact Fund is made possible thanks to generous social value donations from some of our suppliers. Up to £2,000 per project is available to charities, community groups and organisations that benefit our customers and the communities they live in.
