We’re proud to have awarded a £2,000 grant from our Community Impact Fund to Gloucestershire Bundles.
Gloucestershire Bundles provides emergency packs of clothing, equipment and toiletries to pregnant women and families in crisis situations. The charity works with midwives, health visitors, social workers and other professionals to support local families when they need it most.
Our £2,000 donation will support the charity’s Equipment for Under Ones project, which provides essential baby and toddler equipment to families who cannot afford to buy the items themselves. This includes cots, Moses baskets, sterilisers, baby baths, change mats, highchairs, stair gates and baby monitors.
The project helps ensure babies have access to safe and essential equipment, giving them a better start to life while also reducing financial pressure and stress for parents and carers.
Quality, pre-loved items are donated by local residents, helping to make funding go further and reducing waste. However, many items still need to be purchased to meet demand and ensure families receive the support they need.
Susan Scothern, Treasurer at Gloucestershire Bundles, said:
"We know from the number of referrals we receive that these items are desperately needed by local families.
“We’ve been providing this support for more than 13 years and continue to see significant demand. Last year alone, we distributed more than 650 items.
“This funding will help us continue providing essential equipment to babies and toddlers whose families are facing difficult circumstances."

“We have approximately 800 GSA homes in Gloucestershire and some of our customers have already benefitted directly from the charity.
“We previously funded their Clothing for Kids project in 2024 which made a really positive impact on local families, so I am thrilled we’ve ben able to support this much needed charity again.”
Our Community Impact Fund is made possible thanks to generous social value donations from some of our suppliers. Up to £2,000 per project is available to charities, community groups and organisations that benefit our customers and the communities they live in.
