Last year the Gloucestershire Homes and Communities Partnership (GHCP), which GreenSquareAccord is a member of, invested a total of £150million to deliver 727 new affordable homes in the county.
The GCHP is a group of seven social landlords who are committed to working together to increase the supply of affordable homes across Gloucestershire and collectively provide:
- More than 35,000+ homes in the county
- Employ 1,600+ people who live and work in Gloucestershire.
Last financial year (2024-25) the partnership built a total of 727 new homes across Gloucestershire, an investment of £150 million, helping to meet growing demand and offering more people the option to live in safe, secure, and affordable housing.
The new homes have been delivered through a combination of direct development and section 106 agreements, and reflect the partnership’s shared commitment to quality, sustainability and long-term community impact.
Our CEO Ruth Cooke says: “Collectively the members of the GHCP own or manage 73% of the social housing stock in Gloucestershire. We believe that by working together we can achieve more for the communities we serve.
“With demand for social and affordable housing still rising, the partnership remains focused on building more homes, investing in people, and shaping places where residents feel safe, supported, and proud to live.”
The GCHP comprises of Bromford, Cheltenham Borough Council Housing Services, Gloucester City Homes, GreenSquareAccord, Rooftop Housing Group, Stroud District Council, and Two Rivers Housing.
The group is Co-chaired by Hayley Selway, Chief Executive Officer at Two Rivers Housing and Guy Stenson who is Chief Executive Officer at Gloucester City Homes.
Hayley Selway, Co-Chair of the GHCP said: “By coming together, we’ve been able to deliver hundreds of new affordable homes and provide stable employment for more than 1,600 people living in Gloucestershire. We know that there is more work to do, but we are proud of the impact we’ve made and will continue to work together to support our tenants and the communities we serve.”
