New animation launched to engage customers on energy efficiency works
GSA and our partners in the Matrix Housing Partnership have come together to create an animation to engage customers about energy efficiency upgrades on their homes.
The Matrix Housing Partnership is a consortium of seven social landlords including GreenSquareAccord, Black Country Housing Group, Citizen Housing Group, Pioneer Housing and Community Group, Rooftop Housing Association, Trent & Dove Housing and Trident Housing Association.
Earlier this year, the partnership secured £12million funding from the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ); which manages the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund, to make 905 homes across the Midlands and South West more energy efficient.
Members of the Matrix Housing Partnership will deliver regeneration works including cavity wall insulation, installing new windows and doors, loft insulation, and measures to improve ventilation. The works will see older homes upgraded so they have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of at least C – aligned with a key commitment within our Simpler, Stronger, Better strategy.
The animation, which was led by GSA, will be used in communication with customers.
Steve Hayes, our Director of Corporate Affairs and Communications, said: “We’re pleased to have led the creation of this simple and slick animation to help us engage with customers on this important piece of work.
“The idea was to create an easy-to-understand overview which all partners can use as they start to engage with customers so they understand what is involved in the work and how the process will work.
“This is a great example of how partnership working can elevate our communication. The animation has been joint funded through the partnership which means it represents excellent value for money for all partners.”
