Our Graduates go on a tour of our Midlands developments
Our graduates recently visited our plastic free homes and our LoCaL Homes factory to get an insight into the housing developments within our Redditch Cooperative Homes service.
Abigale Towle, Miret Arvik and Farahat Ahmed are part of the Charityworks graduate programme, which is a national one-year training programme specifically for the non-profit sector.
Carl Taylor, our Assistant Director New Business and George Stoyan, our Senior Regeneration Manager gave them the tour, giving them our history of building modular homes and explaining how we support our local community needs through Coop initiatives. They also met a customer who is waiting to be homed in one of our new plastic free homes in Redditch.
Dee Kumari, our Apprenticeship, Volunteer, Placement Coordinator said, “Our graduates found the visit so insightful, and it was great for them to understand how we serve our communities. It’s so important that they get to go out in the community and see how the work we do makes a difference.”
GreenSquareAccord Graduate Abigale Towle, who is our Voice of the Customer Officer, said: “It was such a fantastic day. I really enjoyed meeting the other graduates and learning more about building new homes, and how it works in social/cooperative housing.”
