Martyn Hale

Martyn has been involved in the housing sector for over 38 years, starting as a trainee in local government after leaving school. He has spent time in housing and environmental health, and chose to specialise in housing after completing a three-year training programme.
Having worked in most operational roles, Martyn has experience in both the local government and registered provider sectors, more recently as Operations Director at Trent & Dove where he is responsible for all housing and maintenance-based services plus communications and health, safety and compliance.
Martyn is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing Professional Standards Committee and Vice chair of the NHF Supported Housing and Homelessness Group. Previously he was chair of Keep Britain Tidy’s Audit Committee and a Trustee.
