Craig brings extensive senior financial experience from the social housing sector and other industries, with a strong personal commitment to helping not-for-profit organisations create social value.

He is currently the Executive Director of Finance at Aston University, an institution recognised for placing social mobility at the heart of its mission. Aston University is ranked second in England for its achievements in this area.

Before joining Aston University, Craig served as Finance and Corporate Services Director for two social housing and care providers in the Midlands. He also spent six years as a Non-Executive Board Member and Chair of the Audit Committee at Black Country Housing Group.

Craig began his career in global professional services firms, including PwC and Deloitte, where he spent 18 years leading finance projects across UK government and local public services. His work included advising on public procurement, commercial structures, and social and economic infrastructure projects.
