Simon Higgins announced as our new Digital Services Director

Our new Digital Services Director, Simon Higgins, will join us on Monday 8 April.

As Digital Services Director Simon will oversee the work of our IT Operations, Service Improvement and Innovation, Digital Delivery and Business Intelligence teams.

Simon joins us from fellow housing association Sanctuary where he held the post of Director of Information Technology for over two and a half years. In this role, Simon led a team of approximately 100 technology professionals who covered platforms, projects, applications, support and technology risk. 

Prior to this, Simon worked for accountancy giant PwC for fifteen years. During his time at PwC, Simon supported ten different housing and care providers with assurance, advice and delivery support for technology-enabled transformation.

Simon said: “I have been working in and close to the housing sector for the best part of two decades and find the work we do to be hugely rewarding.

“Having studied GSA’s  2023-28 Simpler, Stronger, Better business strategy I am excited about the plans the organisation has for the future and delighted to be a part of them.

“I am looking forward to working with colleagues to utilise technology and data to deliver direct benefits for our customers.”
