Our colleagues have been shortlisted in two categories at the ASCP26 Safety and Compliance Awards.
Sid Singh our Gas Manager is in the running for the Rising Star Award. This category recognises early-career housing professionals already making a meaningful impact, bringing energy, curiosity and fresh ideas to their organisation or the wider sector.
Our Heating and Electrical team have been shortlisted for the Safety and Compliance Team of the Year which recognises colleagues that have achieved outstanding results for residents through collaboration, innovation and unwavering commitment.
Sid Singh our Gas Manager said “I’m incredibly proud to have been shortlisted for the Rising Star Award, and very grateful to Jess Carris for putting my name forward for the nomination. I’m equally proud to see our Heating and Electrical teams recognised for the hard work and commitment they show every day.
“These nominations reflect the teamwork, professionalism and dedication across the service, with everyone focused on delivering safe, high-quality outcomes for our residents. Congratulations and good luck to everyone shortlisted across all categories.”
Both Sid and our colleagues in the Heating and Electrical Team are facing competition from housing providers and suppliers from across the length and breadth of the UK.
The winners will be announced on Tuesday 8 September at ICC Newport as part of the wider ASCP26 Conference, Exhibition and Awards.
Matt Sharp, Chief Executive Officer, at ASCP said: “Every year we say it gets harder to judge, and every year we mean it more. The 2026 entries are the strongest we have ever seen, in terms of volume, but more importantly in terms of the quality and ambition of the work being submitted. The shortlist represents organisations and individuals who are genuinely raising the bar for what safety and compliance looks like in practice. We cannot wait to celebrate them all in Newport.”
